The Company’s development activities began in the early 1970s and represented the basic expertise of the firm through the early 1980s.  This was in large part due to the engineering skills of Mark Rubenstein, the Company’s Founder and Chairman.  The decision was made to halt development as of 1981 based on the fundamentals in the marketplace.  In the early 1990s the Company resumed its development activities, mostly through large scale renovations, but by this time the basic expertise of the firm had become more balanced between development and acquisitions.

Evident in all of the Company’s developments is the belief that a building can have a striking design and appearance and still be both cost effective and practical.  We seek to provide our tenants with the most efficient and flexible floor designs possible.  Our broad experience in property management also enables us to design and construct buildings with the most technically effective, economical and durable building systems available.  All developments of the Company share features of strategic location, high quality and marketability.

This, combined with our full service leasing, financing and management teams, will ensure our competitive advantage.

The Company has developed an experienced construction team headed by Anthony M. Noce, Jr. as Director of Construction.  Tony joined the Company early 2000 and has over 20 years of construction management experience.

The construction team's capabilities include construction management of new buildings, major renovation and tenant improvement projects.

"The Rubenstein Company has a history of taking under-utilized, under-managed and under-valued properties and turning them around to become outstanding income-producing investments."

      Vice President
